Kill Trip - A Texas Horror Thriller

A group of festival-goers hitch a ride toward what should be the best weekend of their lives, and end up fighting to survive one that never ends. For Kill Trip, LA MOBB built the film's entire sonic world from the ground up: original score, sound design, and full mix, approached as one continuous instrument rather than separate deliverables. The score starts warm and human, then slowly corrodes into something unstable as the group's numbers dwindle, letting dread build under the scene instead of announcing it. Because the threat in Kill Trip is unseen, the sound design leans into negative space: absence, distant movement, and texture doing the work a visible monster usually would. The full mix ties both together, balancing intimacy against the disorienting scale of the crowd and open road, so the film never lets you settle until its final grim truth: not everyone was going to see Austin.
